Private tutoring is a collaborative effort between student and teacher to create the most effective and enjoyable learning experience. Private lessons are perfect for people who wish study intensively alone or at their own pace. These lessons are great for all skill levels and can be tailored to fit the specific needs of any student.  Lesson content, day and time can be arranged according to your request.
Lessons can be held in-person or online. At Italian School NJ, we understand everybody’s busy schedule , having the option of taking the lesson in person or online makes learning Italian flexible and accessible to fit anyone’s needs while offering great learning material and conversation-based resources. Thanks to our on-line lesson program, you will still be able to enjoy your one-on-one personalized Italian lessons wherever you are, whether that is traveling or simply your own home.

Individual private lessons: 
$75 for a 1-hour session
$100 for a 1.5-hour session
Tuition are required to be paid in advance for at least 4 lessons.

Please note that 24 hour notice is required to cancel an upcoming lesson.

Our team of highly qualified instructors, some of whom teach or have taught at the high school level, is also excited to assist high school or college students to master their Italian.
High school and College Tutoring
Italian School NJ will help with better grades overall, prepare for a specific test or simply clarify some concepts that may seem very hard. We are very proud to have teachers on staff that are either state certified or are currently teaching Italian to local private schools or Universities. For those teachers a different rate applies.
AP Italian tutoring
Italian School NJ takes a particularly spherical approach to instruction, which allows students a unique opportunity to engage in every aspect of the Italian language.
If your student is interested in an intensive prep course with some classmates and a 4 or a 5 on the AP exam, a small group can be arranged. Please request a class here.

ISNJ offers English lessons in various formats, private, semiprivate or family lessons, on-line and in person. These programs are for anyone who have recently arrived and are working for or alongside American corporations, English is not only a necessity in the work place, but a fundamental element of assimilation into the American culture. Having encountered many Italians that after moving in the USA still lack in their confidence to properly speak the English language and therefore are impacted in their everyday life and even prevented to apply for jobs in career they already had in their home land, , we have decided to launch this NEW classes.
